My heart is saddened to learn of Jean's passing. I will miss the Sunday evening calls from her. Jean was the most loyal friend anyone could have. I remember her daily visits to our little store, Granny's. she would pick up trash outside on her way in. Just to be helpful. But she always made the extra steps to the phone booth to check to see if anyone forgot their quarters in the coin return. I will never forget one spring when the snow was thawing and she checked that phone booth and noticed a $50 bill frozen in the snow. She got it! Then she was only concerned about returning it to the one that list it. Eventually she would keep it. Rest in peace my beautiful friend!
