She will be missed, having volunteered for a long time at the weekly food bank at Green Street(UMC) Church in Hastings. In the mid 1990's one year she and I were tutoring volunteers at the Hastings Middle School, under John Fehsenfeld's direction. My van was in the repair shop, and this past Wednesday she was going to pick up a box of food for me at the food bank, an example of her thoughtfulness.
