God chose to take a good man home on Wednesday night...Leonard was not just my brother in law, he was a dear friend.. He fought valiantly for many months against his illness and never once did I hear him complain about it or blame God. Instead he faced it head on, fearless and with dignity and even a rare sense of humor. To know Leonard was to understand what a man of honesty, integrity and loyalty is like. His hand-shake was as good as any written contract. He spent his adult life working HARD as a farmer, making life better for his family whom he was very devoted to. He and Maxine raised amazing sons who honor him in following in his footsteps. Leonard did ALL that he could, the BEST that he could, for AS LONG as he could. The footprint he has left of our lives will not be forgotten - we love him and pray that his family will be blessed by his legacy. Thank you Lord for sharing Leonard with us all...Jack & Millie
