One cold winter day, I saw a blue pickup stop north of my house. A man got out, looked in the drain pipe under the road and then left. This went on for about three days. On the fourth day, I decided to walk down and find out what was going on. The person was Gerald doing some free lance trapping of furry critters. As I got close to him, I discovered who it was. He said he didn't think I would mind. I didn't and invited him to catch as many as he could. I knew him and Chubby through the Maple Syrup Association and have much respect for him. He was a warm hearted man and will be truly missed.
