Our son was 8 or 9 when we visited Great-Grandma Yarger. It was dusk and we sat on the back deck and Winifred got a "Ball" jar with lid and physically showed our son how to capture fireflies in the jar. So many that as the sun went down, the jar almost appeared as a lantern. We spent three or four days with Grandma and the peace, quiet and slower pace makes us remember and crave those times again. Thank you Winifred for showing such loving kindness~ We will never let it escape our memories!
