Margaret Mitchell Cummings, age 88 of Nashville, passed away on April 20, 2023, at her home.
Margaret was born in Lansing, MI, on January 30, 1935. She was raised in the Lansing area, and she attended Lansing area schools.
Margaret began her working career as a server in the restaurant industry, at the age of 15. She enjoyed the social aspect of being with people and the restaurant business was perfect for her. Margaret retired in 2013.
She was married to Mr. Henry Cummings on June 10, 2012, in Hastings MI. Henry and Margaret met in 1988 while working at a local truck stop together. Margaret invited Henry to her home for Easter dinner, and they have been together ever since.
Margaret enjoyed collecting thimbles, and dolls, and cherished her trip to Las Vegas with her husband Henry.
She is survived by her beloved husband Henry, her brother Jim, sister Donna, 2 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Mitchell, her 6 children, and 4 siblings.
