Neva Joan “Jo” Harris walked into heaven on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Born June 5th, 1931 at home, in Lodi, Indiana, Jo spent her growing up years in southern Indiana. She married Shirley William Harris in August 16, 1968. After his retirement, they moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and slowly worked their way back to Indiana. He preceded her in death in 2007. Jo loved her family and making a home were all felt welcome. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was well known for her pies and for a mean game of Scrabble.

Jo is survived by her four children, Sherry (Bob) Bowen, Bill Benbow (Paulette Upton), Pat (Rick) Sorg, and Ellisha (Ben) Masten. Grandchildren, Jenny (Keith), Julie, John (Michelle), Joseph (Jaime), Lara (Billy), Andrew (Erica), Hanna (Dan), Trea, Ethan, Sam, Ian, Raven, Xavier, Maggie, Laney, and Max, 12 great-grandchildren, Emily, Alexis, Gordon, Steve, Jacob, Mikayla, Miriam, Rory, Harrison, Teddy, Adelyn and Isaac, and one great-great grandchild, Cooper.

Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11am, in Montezuma, Indiana at Oakland Cemetery with internment to immediately follow. Memorials may be given to the Nashville Baptist Church Angel Tree program.
