Arlene D. Trudgeon

Mrs. Arlene D. Trudgeon, age 89, of Hastings passed away Friday, February 26th, 2021 at Carveth Village in Middleville, MI.

Arlene was born in Zeeland, MI on April 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Ary and Catherine (Kromenydke) DeGues. She was raised in the Zeeland area and attended local schools graduating from Zeeland High School in 1949,

In 1974, Arlene began working at Bradford White in Middleville, where she worked faithfully for 22 years before retiring in 1997.

Arlene's family was always her first priority, and she took great pride in caring for their needs. She enjoyed staying close to home, where she spent her spare time crocheting, reading books and doing crossword puzzles. She was an accomplished seamstress who loved making doll clothes for her grand daughter's doll collections.

Arlene is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Charlie) Pullen, Sandy Wilcoxson, three sons, Homer Holtrust, Steve Holtrust, Mike (Lori) Trudgeon, 18 grandchildren, and 28 great grand children 11 great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by brothers "Sonny" DeGues, & Red DeGues, son in-law Charlie Pullen, grandchildren Michael Stephen Trudgeon, Tristin Michael Mead, and great grand daughter Cadence Halifax,

Funeral Services will be held at The Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville, MI, at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 3rd, with Travis Trudgeon officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday March 3rd from 11 -1 PM at The funeral home.

There will be a time of fellowship and luncheon immediately following the funeral service at The Daniels Funeral Home, with internment at Hastings Township Cemetery to follow.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of Donor's Choice.
