Obituary for Sharon Cain

Sharon Lee Cain of Nashville Michigan passed away of from complications of Covid-19 on February 8, 2021, at the age of 79. Sharon was born August 1, 1941, in Alma Michigan, to Joseph A and Evelyn L (Berry) Pavlat. She was raised in Ithaca and Lansing Michigan and graduated from St Mary's in 1959.

Sharon married the love of her life, Thomas Cain, on March 17, 1968. In their 53 years together, Tom and Sharon raised 6 children together. Virginia (Joe) Hinojosa, Kathryn Mayhew, Lawrence (Chris) Cain, Daniel Cain, Evelyn Kay Cain, and Candace (Daniel) Carpenter.
In 1992, Sharon retired from the US Postal Service after 26 years of service. During her 28 years of retirement, Sharon and Tom spent the first 10 years traveling the United States full time in their motorhome, the next 10 years in their homes in Surprise Arizona and Camp Thornapple in Nashville Michigan, and then in 2013, they settled into their home in Nashville Michigan.
Sharon is survived by her husband, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and canine companion Cali.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Richard and Elaine Cain, and son Daniel.

In keeping with Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be planned for a later date. Sharon was a member of St. Cyril of Jerusalem in Nashville Michigan and will be interred in Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville Michigan.
