Glenn Mattocks

Mr. Glenn Mattocks, 53, of Livonia passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 22nd, 2020 at his home.

Glenn was born in Lansing, MI on August 8, 1967, the son of the late Edwin and Joyce (Melton) Mattocks. He was raised in the Lansing area and attended local schools.

Glenn loved being outdoors, he started in landscape and property management business which he successfully operated for several years before move into a sales representative position with a larger firm. Glenn had an amazing ability to identify property improvement issues from cement/asphalt repair to the largest landscape projects and put the right people in the right positions to complete the job successfully.

When he wasn't working, Glenn enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed hunting with his son Brandon in Vermontville and Illinois. His firearm of choice was his muzzleloader, "because you only NEED one shot"!. His passion of the outdoors extended beyond hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as boating and camping with his children any chance he could.

Glenn is survived by his son and two daughters Brandon (Finance' Reilly) Mattocks, Emily Mattocks, Lindsey Mattocks, 3 grandchildren Nash, Briar, & Shiane, his significant other & partner Debbie Villanueva, and mother of his children Brigette, his best friend "Lucy' his beloved Boston Terrier.

He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Mattocks.

Funeral services are being conducted privately.

Glenn will be missed dearly by his family and friends. But in our grief we are eternally grateful for the gift that Glenn possibly passed on to many people in need of tissue and bone. Glenn, gave the gift of sight and mobility to strangers who were desperately praying for a miracle, that Glenn was able to provide.
