David & Heather (Applegate) Wright

Mr. David Wright, and his beloved wife of 17 years Heather passed away unexepectedly in an automobile accident on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 in Hastings, MI

Heather was born in Hastings, MI on August 11, 1985, the daughter of David Applegate and Kelli (Carns) Husman. David was born January 15, 1983 the son of the late Daniel "Danny" Wright and Lorena Patch.

Heather spent her early childhood years in the Grand Rapids area attending local schools. transferring to the Hastings area during her middle school years. It was during this time that she met the love of her life David Wright. After dating through high school, the couple was married on September 3, 2003 in Hastings, MI. They made their home together in the Nashville & Hastings areas raising their son Dillon together.

Heather's primary focus was caring for the needs of her family, while David was employed at Burger King in Hastings, until most recently beginning a new job at Walmart. During their spare time, Heather enjoyed making extremely detailed dream catchers, and David could often be found "tinkering" around the house. During the summer months, the couple enjoyed a summer day floating the Thornapple River in their tubes, and an evening bonfire at their home.

David and Heather are is survived by their Children Brianna and Dillien Wright, Heather's siblings Jana (Chad) Livingston, brother David (Amber) Applegate, Jennifer (Casey) Jacobs, Robert Smith jr. her mother Kelli Husman, David's uncles, David, Rick & Dave, his aunts Dawn, Debbie, & Karen and many dear friends.

They were preceded in death by their infant son Dion Wright, Heather's father David Applegate Sr., grandparents Don (Jan) Sherk, & grandfather Ken Carn Sr. David's parents Danny Wright & Lorena Patch, and both sets of grandparents.
