Mr. Ronald Wilson, age 62, of Hastings, MI passed away Monday, October 5th, 2020 at Autumnwoods in McBain, MI
Ronald was born in Hastings, MI on July 28, 1958, the son of Howard and Jean (Shumway) Wilson.
He was raised in the Hastings area, and attended local schools graduating from Hastings High School. Ron served in the U.S. Army after graduating high school and was honorably discharged.
Ron spent his working career as a Transportation Dispatcher, a career that was cut short after his cancer diagnosis.
Ron loved being outdoors, and would take every opportunity to spend the entire day in the sunshine. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed working with electronic drones, and was always pushing the limits on how high they could fly and how fast they would go. Ron enjoyed country music, especially when he could sing with his beloved daughters. Often his sense of humor could get him "trouble", which people will fondly remember. In his younger years Ron enjoyed spending a warm summer day fishing.
Ronald is survived by his mother, four daughters, Rebecca Wilson, Ronni Sue Wilson, Roberta (Don) Wood, Tannar Wilson, two sisters, Letha Standler, Patricia Sherwood
three brothers, Steve Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Jeff Wilson, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren and his beloved dog "Bella", whom he missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father Howard Wilson.
