Obituary for Howard Wymer
Mr. Howard Paul Wymer, age 60, of Hastings passed away Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at his home.
Howard was born in Hastings, MI on January 18, 1960, the son of the late Charles and Ione (Cousino) Wymer. He was raised in the Hastings area and attended local schools graduating from Hastings High school in 1979.
Howard spent a large portion of his working career as an Owner/Operator truck driver, traveling throughout the United States. He also worked several years as a Machine Operator and owned his own business building portable storage sheds. Howard loved to "tinker" in his shop at his home. He especially enjoyed buy and selling lawnmowers; restoring broken mowers to working condition, then selling them. When his son Nicolas was young, each night they would head to the neighbors pond to fish together for a couple hours before ending their day.
Howard is survived by his son,Nicholas Wymer, two sisters, Nancy (Al) Morgan, Judy (John) Kula, five brothers, Chuck (Cheryl) Wymer, Ronnie (Julie) Wymer, Roy (Terri) Wymer, Tim (Melissa) Wymer, Philip (Brenda) Wymer, his best friends Tom Ancel, and Nick Hentges, Duane Huntly, and step daughter Samantha Trudgeon.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Donald, Richard and Suzy and niece Cheyenne Fighter.
Graveside Services at Dowling Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 2-5 pm on August 9, 2020 at Tyden Park in Hastings MI.
