Life Story for Karl Pufpaff

Nashville, MI

Karl Martin Pufpaff age 94 passed away peacefully with his family beside him at the Flower House in Nashville, Michigan.
Karl was born to Glen and Mable (Martin) Pufpaff on March 29th 1924 in Battle Creek. He grew up and lived mostly in the Nashville and Hastings area. In 1943 he graduated from Hastings High School and married the love of his life, Agnes Benson on December 18th, 1943 at the home of Agnes' sister, Hilna Fassett.
In 1945 he was drafted into the army and served in the 13th Bngr. 7th infantry division in Korea as a cook for officers.
After the service he worked with his brother Keith driving a feed grinding truck and various other jobs. Through out his life he did farming and loved his John Deer tractor.
He was employed by the Kellogg company where he worked in the printing department for 27 years until he retired.
Karl loved family gatherings and traveling the country.
He was a long time member of Peace United Methodist Church, and the Nashville Lions Club.
He is survived by his loving wife Agnes (Benson), his 4 children Boyd (Donnya) Pufpaff, Beverly Sixberry, Pam (Jerry) Palonen, and Mark Pufpaff. Grandchildren Lisa (Tim) McClafferty, Glen Pufpaff, Brenda (Brian) Bagwell, step-grandchildren Tina Rodersheimer, Audra Palonen. Great Grandchildren Mark A Pufpaff, Isabelle Green, Bailey Bagwell, Bryce Bagwell. Step-Grandchildren Taylor Rodersheimer. Nephews Brian Pufpaff and Kevin (Marcia) Pufpaff. Grand-nephew Nathan Pufpaff, Grand - niece Kristen (Daren) Ray. Great - grand nice Willow Pufpaff and Azia Pufpaff.
Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville with Pastor Micky Cousino officiating.
