Blake Huffman, age 5, of Wayland, MI. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6th, 2018 while riding his bicycle at his home.
Blake was born in Kalamazoo, MI on March 17, 2013, the son of the Rachel (Hoffman) and Jacob Huffman.
Blake a very smart and energetic young boy, who loved playing with his friends on a warm summer day. Most recently, Blake had completed preschool, and was preparing to enter Kindergarten at Baker Elementary School in Wayland. Blake loved to work with his hands, and he loved playing and building things out of Legos. For his birthday, his parents gave Blake a Lego table filled with thousands of different styles of Legos, which he used to construct and entire city including Lego people.
Blake was ALL BOY!, full of energy and passion for the environment around him. He loved super heroes, his favorite being Captain America, and would most often be dressed in a super hero outfit. Blake was convinced he was invincible with he had a Batman mask on. During the summer months he especially enjoyed Kayaking with his family on the river, fishing the entire time.
Blake is survived by loving parents, his two sisters, Kaydence and Jessa Ann Huffman
grandparents Darrin John Hoffman Sr., Roberta (Wayne) Pennington, Dustin Huffman, Bonnie (Ed) Smith, great grand parent Raymond (Shirley) Smith, and several cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at The Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville, MI, at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 with Pastor Scott Price officiating.
The family will receive visitor 1 hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday beginning at 12 Noon until the funeral at The Daniels Funeral Home.
