So sorry for your loss. Sympathy and prayers go with you during this sad time. Brian was an awesome man and well liked. He will be missed by many. Again, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, and brother.

Our loving God is aware of this and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 says: "God is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." The promise at Revelation 21:4 is also very comforting which says: "He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." May these words strengthen and encourage you during this time of bereavement.
