Message: I will always have fond memories of Uncle Dick, his humbleness, honesty, love, and for rightness has always been a shining beacon in my life. Though I have spent most of my adult life away from home, I always made time to visit him and Aunt Joe it was always one of high lights of my trip. I will miss talking and fishing with him, rest well Uncle Dick.

Message: I have fond memories of a kind and caring Uncle who loved to share his stories of the good times with Nunna, Bubba, my dad, Uncle Bill, Aunt Beulah, Aunt Betty and anyone in the Champagne family. He had a great sense of humor and liked to set the record straight on how things really happened, as opposed to what we were told when we were kids. I remember the many garbage can corn roasts in our back yard, the adults drinking beer, all of us kids drinking gallons of Kool-Aid. Rest in Peace Uncle Dickie.
