Mr. Alan Jarman, age 62, of Nashville went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at at his home.


Alan was born in Bristol, England on October 25, 1955, the son of the late Ralph B. and Dulcie Reece-Jarman.


At the age of 16 Alan left Thornbury Castle High School to joining the British Army. While serving in the armed forces, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him severely burned and disabled. After years of recovery and rehabilitation, Alan was Honorable discharge and return to civilian life. It was during this time, that Alan me his best friend Jonathan was a devoted Christian man. Through this relationship at the age of 19 Alan accepted Jesus Christ into his life and he was never the same. On September 1, 1979 he married the love of his life, Ellen (Trent) Reece-Jarman and the couple was baptized together at the King Street Gospel Hall in England. In 1983, Alan felt the Lord leading him to serve in the mission field, and he enrolled in G.L.O Bible College successfully completing the one year Bible course. Shortly after Alan accepted his first missionary assignment to Africa. Alan fell in love with Africa and its people and after several years in the field, returned to England where he, Ellie, and their four children sold their possessions and joined him focusing on youth ministry. In 1989 the Lord led the family to the island of Saipan where they served for over 10 years before moving to the United State in 2001.

After settling in the United States, Alan pursued his passion for helping those in need by pursuing a degree the Substance Abuse Therapy. For the past 20 years he has devoted his life and career to helping addicts break the grip of addiction.

Alan is survived by his beloved wife Ellen Reece-Jarman,Their daughters, Cordelia "Dee" Reece-Jarman and Rebecca (Jason Bourdo) Reece-Jarman, a son, Richard "Richie" Reece-Jarman, a sister, Eileen Banks, his mother Dulcie Reece-Jarman, grandchildren Shia-Leigh Reece-Jarman, Jaysona-Skye London Reece-Jarman, Mason Cornelius, Hayley Taylor, Caleb Taylor, and Layla Grace Rawle.

He was preceded by father, and his son Matthew Reece-Jarman,


Celebration of Life will be held at The Maple Leaf Hall - Abundant Life Fellowship Ministries, Nashville, MI, from 3-6 PM on Sunday, October 21st, with Dr. David R. MacDonald officiating.
