Life Story for Larry Elliston

Larry E. Elliston
Larry E. Elliston, a lifelong resident of Nashville, MI, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 12, 2018 after a long battle with COPD.
Larry was born April 13, 1938 to the late Vern “Bob” & Iza (Jarrard), attended Nashville High School and graduated in 1956. He married Joan Everett on October 18, 1957; together they raised their three children, Kevin, Marcia, and Max in the Nashville area.
Larry was well known for his sense of humor, and he also enjoyed watching sports and outdoor activities. He’s extremely loved and will be missed beyond measure.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sons Kevin and Max Elliston, Brothers Dick and Lowell Elliston, and son-in-law Curt Scramlin. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan, daughter Marcia Scramlin, granddaughter Michelle Scramlin, and his great-nephew Norm (Jennifer) Porter, with whom he was very close, as well as many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association https://www.mda.org/ or to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund https://heartlandhospicefund.org
The family will receive visitors at Daniels Funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 11am to 1pm followed by the funeral at 1pm.
