Diana Morgan

Mrs. Diana Morgan, age 70, of Nashville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at her home.

Diana was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 4, 1946, the daughter of the late ALvin and Flora (Medcalf) Gauck.

When she was 9 years old her family relocated to the Lake Odessa area where she attended local schools and was part of the first graduating class of Lake Odessa High School in 1965.

She was the widow of Richard Morgan. The couple was married September 12, 1970 in the Sebawa Baptist Church. They made their home together in the Nashville area where they raised their family together. Diane loved her home, and took great pride in caring for her families needs.

When her family was young, she enjoyed working in the garden, and canning fresh produce for her family to enjoy throughout the year. She loved being outdoors fishing in the summer and hunting deer with her husband and family in the fall. She looked forward to spending time in Northern Michigan with her family each summer camping and fishing. Diana loved to sew, play games on her computer, cook, and read the Harry Potter series of books.

Diana is survived by her three daughters, Stacy (Mario) Moreno, Debra (Pat McKinnon) Goodenough, Kathy (Gordon) Yesh, her sister, Myra Franks, 5 grandchildren Jason Morgan, Christian Johnson, Brandon Barnum, Isaiah McPhee, and Morganne Smith

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard in 2005, her brother Douglas Gauck, and nephew Doug

A Memorial Service will be held at The Nashville Church of the Nazarene, Nashville, MI, at 1 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 with Pastor Jeff Hodge officiating.

There will be a time of fellowship and refreshment immediately following the memorial service at the Nashville Church Of The Nazarene.

Interment will take place privately at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Nashville Food Pantry.
